How can we raise our children in a way so they will not "love the world"?

One of this congregation's primary goals is "To Save Our Children"
This is a very broad question, with many answers.
I have prepared my personal "top ten".
But before I share them, I would like to have some discussion from you, then we can comment and perhaps add to my list.

What should we do after we "Pray for God's help"?

1. Be a good example yourself in all that you do.

2. Learn from the experience of other parents.

3. Show them the advantages in doing right.
    ü Fulfillment
    ü Challenging
    ü Fun
    ü Rewarding

4. Show them the dangers, which could result from sin.
    ü Physical Harm (Drinking, Smoking, Sex etc.)
    ü Spiritual Harm
    ü Eternal Destiny

5. Praise them for doing good deeds.

6. Provide proper discipline for them when they make poor decisions.

7. Spend much time with others who love the Lord.

8. Encourage them to have Christian friends.

9. Help them develop good prayer and study habits.

10. Their faith must become their own.
