thoughts. Although we cannot control the way other's think, we can wear only
clothing, which is less likely to attract such attention.
B. What determines if something is, or isn't modest?
An individual's own thoughts, feelings and desires.
C. Why should we be concerned about modest dress?
We may lose our influence, or cause someone else to have immoral thoughts.
D. What scripture would you use to show men need to
dress modestly?
I Timothy 2:9 " In like manner also." Mark 7:22 licentiousness is
"one of the evil things which comes from within" Romans 13:14 make no
provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
E. What should be our attitude with clothing that is
"close" to being immodest? We also do not want to "get
close" to sin.
